A Great Job by NCCC Crew!

Slab with Sign

Friends of Blackwater was fortunate enough to receive some help from an Americorps National Civilian Conservation Corps (NCCC) crew! They have been removing invasive plants along the Blackwater Rail Trail in Thomas, WV. They will be here for three weeks so if you see them around give them a friendly Tucker County welcome! With their help, Friends of Blackwater has been able to finish a large amount of work on the Blackwater Rail Trail that would otherwise have taken months to complete. Here are some pictures of the work they have been doing.
