Friends of Blackwater is looking to hire a new team member focused on Tucker County, regional history, 20th Century industry, and cultural heritage. If you’re interested in these topics, we want to hear from you!
This Heritage VISTA Member position will be focused on studying and creating materials related to the industrial and cultural history of Tucker County. The position will be primarily focused on helping us with our heritage-related projects, and duties will include helping research, create, and place interpretive signage, participating in and documenting events, contributing to social media and outreach, and assisting with resource development.
The position will be based in Friends of Blackwater’s Thomas, WV office. This position will last one (1) year with possibility for extension.
